UK Labour Government plans for changes to electricity transmission costs would ‘cost Scots £1.6bn’

Professor John Robertson OBA

Thanks to rtpscott for alerting me to this:

In the Press & Journal, rarely sympathetic to the independence cause, yesterday:

How much is transmitted?

How much more than we produce, do we need?

  1. As I guess ‘Baldrick’ would say yet another ‘cunning plan’ and underhand way to impoverish Scots whilst we doggedly re-elect the SNP Government when with the help of our ever compliant media maintain we should be grateful for Westminster’s ‘generosity’ in returning a bigger proportion of our tax revenues. All of course designed to show that the SNP cannot be trusted and are economically incompetent.

  2. It’s Westminster energy tariff, the type Trump would love. You make the country supplying you with energy pay for the infrastructure.

It’s the equivalent of Trump’s Mexican wall, but without independence we don’t have the power to tell the to **** off.
