From the Scottish Government today, we see that grants totalling £600 million, up from 510 million last year have been allocated to council to plan their affordable housing supply.1

SNP now building nearly 50 times as many affordable homes as in last days of Labour
SNP-run Glasgow City builds more than SIX times as many affordable homes as Labour-run Birmingham City thanks to £94 million from SNP Government

  1. Hope the councils spend that money on actual housing for people who can’t afford their ‘mid market’ rentals like the ones the LabCons are building via private companies, in Edinburgh. Only available to those on £18k+pa.
