From Additional support needs (ASN) secondary school staffing and pupils: FOI release, published today, the following data showing significant increases and, we must assume disappointing the opposition party or media hacks requesting it:

Media coverage, I suspect, will be telling a different story based on unverified figures from activist and charity groups.

  2. There is a long letter in Today’s Herald on the subject of schools/education in England – great – and education/schools in Scotland – abject failure.

    I am paraphrasing of course but that was the gist of the letter which offered no evidence in support of either contention/assertion.

    Sorry can’t give a link but worth a read if you can get your hands on it if only to see the form of the attack on the SG on this subject.

  3. O/T About Starmer and care workers how many heard this Tory crackpot on them.

    Chris Philp(Tory MP) says “it only takes a few weeks” to train a care worker.
