Imogen Walker , Labour MP for Hamilton and Clyde since last year, stood up today in PMQ’s to feed her weak and needy Labour leader with the usual #SotlandIsSh*te and also BTW her declaring that apparently #EnglandIsBetter.
This kind of infantile behaviour neither impresses nor fools anyone into believing the credibility of what is being spun by MP’s like her as part of the weekly pantomime we witness , at PMQ’s and also at Scottish Q’s, and it is merely ‘Playing Politics”.
Imogen stated “Mr Speaker , in Hamilton and Clyde valley my constituents are struggling to access the healthcare that they desperately need. One in six Scots are on a waiting list. Meanwhile in England the waiting lists have been coming down for the last five months and more than two million appointments have been made available. Does the Prime Minister agree with me that the SNP led government should stop blaming everybody else for their failings. Scotland’s broken public services are their responsibility”.
She then stood her ground, looking over at the SNP MP’s opposite, with what she thought was a triumphant point having been made by her.
It was not.
It was , as per , merely a well rehearsed performance done badly aka a pathetic deed by a member of a desperate party who as a party and UK government are in decline.
The other reality, that Imogen failed to mention for obvious reasons, is that the Scottish NHS is out performing the Labour Welsh NHS .
Also the SNP MP’s , that I and other Scots helped elect, have to listen to this Cr*p week in and week out from the likes of her, a one-upmanship exercise that only exposes how unprofessional and petty Labour (and other UK Parties also) are.
Of course her Labour colleagues also indulge in this immature weekly exercise where they , as Labour MP’s, are once again at one with their Better Together colleagues , the Tories (who also join in too, irrespective of whether it’s a Tory or Labour UK government at WM- ditto for Labour MP’s as well).
Also with the recent survey just published on the public’s opinion on different nations NHS services we read that in Wales , the Welsh public, are the most dissatisfied as a nation with their Labour run Welsh NHS service , which in the survey saw the Labour run NHS in Wales having the “lowest” in “overall satisfaction” in this public survey. (compared to other nations within so called Britain).
Where the survey report stated ” A higher proportion of people in Wales (72%) were dissatisfied with the NHS compared to the survey average”.
This pathetic performance by this female Labour MP was captured by MSM Monitor in his Twitter account where he tweeted:
“This is what happens when you stand for an English party in a general election. You end up denigrating your own nation and its institutions and praising England and its institutions. You are, in effect, belittling your own people. You become a Westminster House Jock”
Indeed totally agree. However this is a weekly exercise that proves that they, Labour, feel threatened by the SNP regaining votes at their , Labour’s , expense.
How about Imogen Walker, as a Labour WM MP, as in one elected in a UK GE to (supposedly) represent a Scottish constituency, begins to challenge and question her UK leader and her UK Labour party as the new UK government.
In her demanding as to why they, as a Labour UK government, are punishing the weakest, the most vulnerable and the poorest of her constituents using their UK government reserved powers in implementing cruel policies and making shameful decisions that would shame even the Tories.
So instead of her whining about devolved matters how about her doing the job she was elected to do, which was to stand up for and defend her constituents from what her Labour party are currently doing (badly) as the new UK government .
( Same goes for all of her other Labour colleagues too at WM).
Has she, Imogen, spoken to her colleague Labour MP Brian Leishman, as allegedly he (supposedly) is not seeing his Labour party (HQ) through the same rose tinted glasses that she seems to be seeing Labour HQ through, as he says Labour lied, they betrayed Scotland in the 2024 GE campaign and he is surely fighting for his future job as well as his honour really. Though still he sits as a Labour MP ??????
Indeed as she was talking about Scottish people then perhaps she should look at the polls and see how Labour are in freefall in Scotland (and also elsewhere outwith Scotland too).
That’s because people in Scotland , like Labour MP Brian Leishman , now also see that they were lied to and betrayed by Labour and, to quote Imogen, they are sick of Labour “blaming everybody else for their (own) failings” as a bad UK government .
Surely Labour’s branch office in Scotland, as a party , and as those who sit in the Scottish parliament, are supposed to be the ones , as an opposition party, who are tasked with challenging the SNP Scottish government in the Scottish parliament on their performance and policies as a Scottish government..
As opposed to what is always happening , where a double whammy of criticism is constantly being thrown at the SNP from both parliaments, WM and Holyrood, from both Labour MP’s at WM and also Labour MSP’s in Holyrood. (and also by the compromised media too).
(The same weekly pantomime happened in PMQ’s and Scottish Q’s with Tories who were elected in Scotland when the Tory HQ were in power at WM).
Labour are once again falling into the same trap pre 2015 where they think they own Scotland, in them having (undeservedly) won seats here last year , so arrogantly their MP’s then assume that they and their party, as the new UK government, are somehow superior, more popular and so they as a UK government are better performing than our Scottish government.
If nothing else that is an unfair comparison when one considers the powers, control and money available to the UK government compared to the lack of powers, less control and less money available to our devolved Scottish government (which is, as a fact, obviously ignored by Imogen Walker Labour MP).
Truth is they, Labour, have turned out to be far worse than the other right wing party, the Tories , and they are also ,as a party, on the same level as the other right wing party, Reform UK party. ( Also People, via a majority, did not vote FOR Labour last year in Scotland in the UK GE, they voted to STOP the Tories from getting re-elected as the UK government.
I can now say that I hate Labour more than the Tories, and I really hate the Tories , so my current hate for Labour may be infinite. (and beyond).
Vote SNP in 2026 and wipe the smug and assumed to be (but not) triumphant look from the face of someone like Labour MP Imogen Walker , who sits with her party in the HOC, as in she sits beside the real Nasty party.
Nasty in thought, speech and manner.
Her seat will be gone come 2029, or maybe sooner the way this useless Labour mob are playing at being UK government , and so far the majority of the Scottish public are giving a VONC in Labour at WM and I cannot see that changing anytime soon, or later either, for them at either Labour HQ or at their branch office in Scotland.
Resistance is NOT futile , they are just trying to make you think it is.
Also the more that people like Labour MP Imogen Walker pulls these kind of stunts at WM, then the stronger my resolve becomes to see the SNP keep getting elected as our Scottish government and also Scotland gaining it’s independence.
I hope Imogen continues with this kind of behaviour and also this kind of talk , as she , and others like her, help to convert more people to the SNP and to Scottish independence too, as it just becomes too unbearable to have to tolerate politicians like her , who supposedly , but do not , represent Scotland as their British hearts and heads are with England only….and also with their pathetic useless party too…always).

”Scottish ” MP who was a long time councillor (2006-2018) in that well known Scottish neighbourhood , Lambeth , married to McSweeny who bought her a parachute to allow her to get into a Scottish constituency ahead of any local people who were not ex-Lambeth councillors and married to him !
Does she even know where Hamilton is ?

Apparently she once worked as an actor, after her ‘Ham performance’ in the HOC today I can see why she decided to change careers.
Jobs for the Girls it seems with hubby Chief of Staff under Keir Starmer.
She is also now a Parliamentary Private Secretary for Rachel Reeves, how many jobs in the Labour party does this family have ?
Her former job and I assume former address would have been a nightmare commute to her new constituency, no worries now though as sure she and her hubby must have a second home in London (paid for by tax payer)….another shoo in from Labour HQ to a Scottish seat as a Labour candidate, and to think that the people in her new constituency fell for it…..I bet her old Council constituency are relieved to see her go…..allegedly.

I heard a radio 4 article yesterday that explained that Birmingham city council’s bankruptcy was due to the £700 million they require to find for unequal pay awards.
The reporter did at least mention it happened in Glasgow (pay dispute) which the incoming SNP administration promised to rectify.
Sorry Labour , where is your moral high ground????

There’s a very good C4 “Ways to change the world” interview with Tim Berners-Lee which addresses the likes of Imogen Walker and Morgan McSweeney – Liars whom society should collectively be defunding, refusing to elect and generally ostracising no matter how small the lie, and no matter what sphere of public life they operate in.

Imogen Walker’s over rehearsed and hammed up performance question at pmq’s is the kind of behaviour we are to expect (always seemingly coming from a Scottish MP,do emphasis),from now until May 2026.
And the SNP have no right to reply. Stephen Flynn seemingly doesn’t get a chance to ask a question!
The labourbad know they are extremely threatened by the SNP!

I don’t think there’s any point in the SNP MPs asking questions in that place from now on because, along with the 30 odd labour MPs who it’s hard to believe are actually supposed to be working for their constituents in Scotland, Starmer uses any question they ask to strike out at the SG.
In fact, there’s very little reason for their presence in this obviously English parliament.

I agree Kelticgirl , unfortunately as long as we are a part of their UK and so still subject to their UK government Reserved UK wide policies then we need proper Scottish representation in their WM parliament to speak on our behalf and also to actually defend us, our elected government and also our Scottish parliament.
(As no other political MP’s (undeservedly) elected in Scotland from pro UK parties will ever do that, indeed they do the opposite).
Also unfortunate is how some voters in Scotland do not know what are Reserved powers and what are devolved powers, in fact some do not even know that they exist as separate powers for the UK government and for all of the various devolved governments!!!!
Hence why a recent bogus Q in a bogus poll asked Scots who they trust on energy prices which got a response that many of the Scots they polled in this survey responded by saying that they:
“Neither trust the SNP nor Labour to stop the trend of rising energy prices”
(The Scotsman (Oxymoron) newspaper enjoyed reporting that news with them giving no clarity as to who could, as a government (UK), potentially “stop the trend” in energy bills continuing to rise , as Energy is a Reserved power).
So Energy is a RESERVED issue, power, matter and so increasing prices on energy bills can only be resolved via a UK government’s intervention and not yet another bloody mitigation exercise by the SNP as Scottish government for people in Scotland.
I think you and I, and many others , are now way beyond screaming, not just at pro UK political parties and their media but also at the ignorance of some Scots, same ones who get to vote in elections, but what DO they base their voting decision upon ????
Hearsay, MSM lies , Pro UK parties lies , tittle tattle or is it guesswork and assumptions that also includes a fair amount of ignorance on all things relating to and connected to politics.
The mind boggles (constantly) as does the frustration and rage increase too…..
We can only vote SNP in 2026 as a first step for us and others to make it all STOP

I suppose really we canna blame voters for not getting the reserved devolved stuff when MPs in Westminster seem to have difficulty separating the two lists. The times I’ve screeched at one of these new Labour MPs “it’s devolved you doughball” when they’ve insisted on bringing up certain topics.

Indeed you are right, but until they do get clued up then it’s hard to see how and when we will get our independence especially when so many of the people in Scotland are so wilfully ignorant of what’s what.

I see the “Special Relationship” did not make the UK exempt from Tariffs.

That’s how some of the media are spinning it.
Surely what with our “Special Relationship” and also Trump getting a State visit as in a ‘personal unprecedented invite’ from the English King to come to , checks bloody notes, Scotland then that should have guaranteed that the UK was not on the ‘List’.
(BTW I neither want Trump nor the King in my country , Scotland)
The so called ‘Special Relationship’ has always really been America asking the UK to “Jump” and then the UK asking America “How High” ?
Former Labour PM , Tony Blair , was certainly willing to jump (way too high) onto the Bush Junior Iraq bandwagon to settle an old score for Bush Senior.
Of course a lower UK Tariff of 10% does demonstrate that Trump (or someone in his administration) thinks that , at some point, a Brexit UK, who because of Brexit , has now become a ‘Beggar and not a Chooser’.
That then makes the UK ripe for exploiting by Trump’s ‘America First’ policy , because the UK are now not as strong or as protected as they once were , that’s because the UK is no longer a part of a more stronger and so United EU with their beneficial trading agreement that is the SM and CU.
The scary part in all of this , and based on this Labour government’s poor record so far as the UK government, is what are they, as a UK government of a Brexit UK, prepared to concede or agree to with Trump’s America First in respect to a Trade deal.
Where currently even some of the more traditional Tory newspapers are spinning it for Labour as they now recognise Labour have adopted a right wing ideology in their policies and decisions that is protecting the wealth of the “Few” by harming the “Many”. That then boosts Labour to go even further.
So Labour as the UK government could then make a bad Trade deal with America that their (Tory) media (who currently seem to be onside with Labour) may spin as being a good trade deal for the UK. (just as they, Tory media, did for the Tories with – bad– post Brexit trade deals they made for their UK, see Australia & New Zealand bad Tory Trade deals as two examples)
To quote Theresa May (not in a positive way) “Now is the time” surely when most of those who voted Labour last year in the UK GE in Scotland now finally realise that they have made a huge mistake.
The only way that they can now rectify that huge mistake is to never ever vote Labour again , no matter what is promised by Labour (in them , as voters in Scotland, always remembering that Labour promises mean nothing and so have no value or merit).

(The same thing happened when the Tories were in power where much of their bad news prompted a media blackout, but in Scotland there is always time and room to include fabricated and constant #SNPBAD news stories or articles via the BBC Scotland news, even when the UK is in a dire state still BBC Scotland and other media here will focus only on #ScotlandIsSh*te and #SNPBAD on a loop).
Currently the UK (English) media seem to only want to focus on Trump, then more Trump and then even more Trump which obviously I and I am sure others too are bloody sick of as well !
Most of all I am bloody sick (to the back teeth) of Scotland still being a part of this terrible UK and so still subjected to the neverending suffering of the far too many so called ‘tough bloody decisions’ that are being constantly made by various UK governments , that as ‘tough decisions’ seem to be made too easily and too frequently and are those that only seem to impact the less wealthy far more than the actual wealthy time and time again.
Vote SNP in 2026 or be prepared to continue to suffer all of those on the above list ** whose only job as those on this list , as far as Scotland is concerned, it is to stop us becoming independent.
