Today lawyer Peter Stefanovic re-posted the above video to makes these points:
The Labour Party went into the 2024 election promising to reform the discredited NHS contract fuelling the current crisis.
According to @TheBDA there has been no material progress to date. The BDA say its deeply concerned that the Treasury is now standing in the way of progress. THE SHOCKING state of NHS dentistry in England is today again laid bare Where is the Governments promised plan to fix it?
@wesstreeting? If you are one of the 13 million people now struggling to access NHS dental care RT this jaw dropping report & join me in asking him
According to Jackie Baillie, Sandy Gullane and that guy the Herald knows, it’s just as bad in Scotland after 17 years of ‘SNP misrule’ or is it?
Here’s what Kirsteen Sullivan Labour MP for Bathgate and Linlithgow tried a month ago. She had just asked PM Sir Keir Starmer at PMQs about a supposed shortage of dentists in Scotland which then allowed Starmer to attack the SNP.

We see, above, Sullivan’s supposed commitment to honesty in public life.
However, on the availability of NHS dentistry in Scotland, she doesn’t want you to know the honest truth, this:
From Public Health Scotland, May 28, 2024:
5,182,993 people were registered with an NHS dentist as at 31 March 2024 (94.6% of the Scottish population). 732,618 extensive clinical examinations were paid in the quarter ending March 2024 under the new pay arrangements
I can’t find directly comparable figures for NHS England, but from a UK Parliament report in 2023:
1 in 5 Britons (22%) are currently not “registered” with a dentist. Of those who were not “registered” 37% said this was because they couldn’t find an NHS dentist.
Only 78% in UK registered, 16.6% lower than the 94.6% in Scotland. So access to NHS dentistry in Scotland 21% higher (16.6% of 78) than in UK.
Maybe, to be fair, there’s a shortage of NHS dentistry in Bathgate?

Hmmm, could she be just another big fibber?

A right cushy job they have, getting well paid for asking questions that allow the UK PM to mercilessly bash Scotland.

Except that’s not what she said. But don’t let the facts get in your way
Q7. Dental deserts mean that routine dental check-ups and treatment are often unavailable in local communities. In my constituency, we have had a dedicated space for a dental practice in the Blackburn partnership centre since 2018, but NHS Lothian has been unable to secure a dental practice. What steps will the Prime Minister take to work with devolved Governments to improve access to local NHS dentists across the UK? (902218)

Well will the plum minister work with the devolved government of Scotland…..no he replies…..”do not work with these damn ‘separatists’ just abstain at every opportunity. That will teach those damn Scots who is the boss as it is labour’s god given right to be in power…..power power power I tell you!!! We were born to be in control of the Scottish people, they are fools, not clever enough to vote and certainly not clever enough to own their rich resources, we must get out there and tell them how bad their northern part of our great nation of England really is, they can’t be trusted with all that wealth, but never tell them that directly, under no circumstances let their children be taught anything about their history, and at all times insist to pensioners that they have always been better off ‘working alongside’ our wonderful democratic Labour Party who has everyone’s best interests at heart and not like those nasty nats who helped to vote in the Thatcher era, remembering not to tell them that our great ‘socialist’ Labour prime minister James Callaghan did not destroy the economy and lay waste to millions of jobs and bring in the three day week and power cuts and the ‘winter of discontent’ and that was what the SNP voted against. Anas Sarwar is thee man of the people and we must keep telling those ‘orrible Scots how much better they will be with him as their leader and that nuclear is safe and the way forward for them, but remember never tell them that we good people of the First Nation of England don’t want any of that radiation on our soil or near the pure blood folk of the chosen….remember power power power at all times….must tell you a funny story….Jackie told me a funny story the other day about that lot…she said….now now now no smirking at the back…Jackie said while she had her feet up on her radiator….and this was funny….she had her heating on full while she was tucking in to her just delivered from Harrods, from good old London, fresh English scooones with english jam and cream…..she said…she said….back in the good old days in South Africa we would have just shot the lot of the scrounging scum….ha!ha!ha!…god how we laughed in the warm heat of Downing Street, what made it funnier was that those stupid Scots pay double for their own electricity and gas and don’t even realise it…you see we have their media under our control and only tell them what WE want them to know..so remember everything in Scotland is bad…bad …bad …until we destroy their government which unfortunately they voted for democratically….that will change once we have taken that right from them and we have our Scottish manager in place…but for the meanwhile never ever ever work with those dreadful Scot’s and their elected government”

Yes. Those unionist politicians are incredibly ignorant. Some of them are studying for the National 5 in “How to be stupid in public life”.
