According to the Herald today, Reform membership across the UK has reached 131 680, just ahead of the UK Conservative Party.
In Scotland, however, pro rata, they seem top have only 5 844 whereas, all things being equal, they’d have around 12 000.
The SNP membership though down, is, according to BBC Scotland, still 12 times stronger, at 64 525.

Reform UK party ?
Here are some actual snippets from Rupert Lowe’s speech at their 2024 Reform UK party conference , he is one of their new MP’s, from 2024 GE, for the constituency of Great Yarmouth, England.
(Currently all 5 of their MP’s are elected in ENGLAND , one being a Tory defector, as in 30p Lee).
So one or two snippets that Rupert said in his conference speech:
“Defund the monopolistic malign BBC”
(That’s the same BBC that Nigel Farage has frequently appeared in , on BBC QT as a member of the BBC QT panel, many many times actually, as has Richard Tice , but Richard Tice has also appeared on BBC ‘Politics Live’ as has Rupert Lowe himself also been on ‘Politics Live’ on the BBC. So it seems that he, Rupert, and too his Reform UK party colleagues , are more than willing to appear on what Rupert calls “the monopolistic malign BBC” so then what is his , Rupert’s, actual real beef about the BBC Ha Ha).
Actually in Scotland on the BBC Martin Geissler interviewed Helen McDade from the Reform UK party, she was a 2024 GE Candidate for them in the Perth & Kinross-shire constituency. So I am starting to think that neither Reform UK or the BBC have a problem with each other, if anything there seems to be a strong ‘bond’ and ‘relationship’ forming Ha Ha.
Then he, Rupert, said something that The Herald can really get behind with him saying this:
“Let’s reverse devolution and restore our act of Union”
“Scotland is now a dysfunctional example of failed devolution funded by the
English taxpayers through the Barnett formula , with Wales close behind”.
Wait a minute he, Rupert, mentioned many times in his speech “the British people” so does he not think people in Scotland are British people who also deserve funding, who also contribute financially to his Britain (and all the rest) or is he isolating and alienating us in Scotland as being those within his Britain who he thinks scrounges from, cheats and so relies upon English taxpayers to survive ?
Well that seems a fab reason to give your vote in Scotland to Rupert’s party, NOT.
However what he also said in his speech now contradicts what Farage was currently saying and seeking to do , as in Farage saying he is in talks with Elon Musk, a Billionaire, on him helping fund , as in donate to the Reform UK party.
But Rupert said this below about Billionaires in his conference speech:
“Now is the time” (he’s now quoting a Theresa May quote Ha Ha) “for the people of Britain to have the courage to speak out before they lose their freedom , their freedom of speech and their special way of life to whatever subversive forces are seeking to undermine us.
“Be it the EU , the world economic forum , the United Nations, the billionaires (what like Elon Musk Rupert Ha Ha) , the WHO, the bilderburgers, the council on foreign relations, crony capitalism, Tony Blair’s socialist dream (Ha Ha are you Rupert ‘aving a laugh) or other malign forces” (what like the Reform UK party Rupert Ha Ha).
You see the big problem with Reform UK in Scotland as a English Nationalist party is that they intend to field candidates in the 2026 Scottish election for the devolved Scottish parliament yet one of their MP’s (who I am sure is not alone within Reform party in agreeing with Rupert) wants to “reverse Scottish devolution” as he thinks that “Scottish devolution is funded by the English taxpayers through the Barnett formula”.
Their other problem is that one of their MP’s, Rupert, thinks that “billionaires are part of the subversive force that are seeking to undermine Britain“, while Farage the leader of reform UK , is currently liaising with and cosying up to a billionaire who seeks to undermine politics in all parts of Britain.
The sheeple who attend their conference may be easy to convince in all of their , Reform UK, double speak but logical thinking people will see the contradiction, manipulation and pure crap that is being spewed out by Reform UK.
Indeed in Scotland many of the ‘anyone but the SNP’ mob may be converted from voting Tory to now voting for the reform UK party, especially if Reform UK continue to denounce Scotland as being a financial basket case that only survives because of England.
That should surely guarantee votes from specific sources within Scotland, some of whom state that they are ‘Proud Scots” but alas are far prouder ‘England fans via their English politics, English Sports teams and English media’.
The SNP need to pounce on Rupert’s 2024 party conference speech, especially the parts where his stance on Scottish devolution is one that exposes the true intention of Reform UK fielding candidates in the 2026 Scottish elections, as in to destroy devolution.
Also his, Rupert’, public statement that English taxpayers pay for us , Scotland, via the Barnett Formula as apparently we are the poor relations within the UK as we pay no taxes apparently, same Scotland that Rupert and his party want to hold onto in their Britain / England , yet also they want to let go of so so so many other things that they say brings down and undermines their Britain aka England (more so tis considered England rather than Britain with Rupert and his party colleagues).
I wish I could add a transcript of Rupert’s conference speech onto here , but it is on YouTube , so you can listen to it and watch the sheeple in the audience soak it all up, proving that there is no cure for Stupid (especially when you see and hear what they cheer to, scary, very very scary and also a British version of MBGA but really for Rupert it is MEGA which then matches Trump’s MAGA).

It would be wise not to dismiss this bunch
They may soon have significant funding behind them.
They also appeal to a certain clientele in the disUK that we have a sizable minority of, even here in Scotland..
Their clientele don’t tend to consider too much politics-wise other than to get the UK “back to where it used to be”.
They have a fondness for marching and military usually, as well.

I think it was because he thought he was ‘preaching to Idiots‘ in the audience whose ignorance of actual historical facts may be very questionable and also whose knowledge of history is limited to ‘We won the war’ . (“We” being England obviously).
So as he was preaching to the converted (the brainwashed) then he could have said anything and they still would have cheered his words.
I’m not going to refer to these people who support and vote for parties like Reform UK as being ‘gullible’ people any more, as I suspect many of them are cut from the same cloth as those pseudo politicians from the pseudo political party known as Reform Party UK.

You know we may criticise (quite rightly) Reform UK party.
However there are alternate parties in the UK who are just as bad , if not worse.
Owen Jones tweeted this about former Labour MP Jonathan Ashworth, who lost his seat in the 2024 GE.

Suddenly it become only too clear why Ashworth lost his seat as unlike some voters here in Scotland , voters in his former constituency were fully clued up on what it was like to suffer a Labour MP and now worse a Labour UK government.

Though he’s alright as, since losing his seat in the election, he has now been appointed Chief Executive of the Labour Together Think Tank, jobs for THE boys (and girls, as in THE ones rejected by the voters).
The UK just keeps giving does it not, though it’s giving us in Scotland everything we do not want or do not need in order to stop us getting what we do want and what we do need.
37 Labour MP’s elected in Scotland in 2024, all with a mission to try and keep Scotland within their UK. One job they have and one job only.

Fortunately this particular Anonymous, as in me Ha Ha, who has an annoying habit of adding too much bold in me comments on here will be saying cheerio , me hubby is moaning that I am spending way way too much time online , he’s a bad bad boy Ha Ha.
So my New Years resolution is to change me wicked ways…..( I may manage to sneak in an odd comment elsewhere online Ha Ha).
So that’s one less Anonymous for you to wonder about on here , but I cannot speak for the others, obviously.
