r/Scotland banned me last year for ‘fake news’ which I thought was political satire.
Today, see the wee red print, I’ve been banned again.
Why this time?
Cannot find out.
The r/Scotland banning resulted from complaints by anon users who regularly made offensive comments but were not banned themselves.

Disgraceful! Clearly they don’t like it up em!
Keep up the good work John. All this does is prove that you are having an effect. More power to your elbow!

They don’t seem to realize just how ridiculous and un-democratic their actions make them look. It’s quite comical really.

I like it , you forced them to show their true colours , it confirms that they have closed minds and are no more than another english propaganda unit. You made them angry , thats nice.

You don’t want to belong to any club that would accept you as one of its members.
With apologies to Groucho.

John, I have had more bans than Ian “Stinker” Dick, allegedly the most-banned player in Ayrshire Junior Football history.
It’s a badge of honour in Journalism, of which your excellent blog is a branch – so, if you’re getting banned, you are doing your job and pissing off the Unca Guid.
More power to your elbow and always remember:

Unfortunately it is well nigh impossible to distinguish between ” complaints by anon users ” and an orchestrated shut down – Collapsing faith in journalism resulted in increasing resort to the internet, this is how manipulators now control the narrative.

Unionist community. Ground hog day. Herald banned Independence supporters. Now hardly any comments. Boring. Losing readership. Click bait.
FiFi la Bon. Dugdale and Foulkes always got the first comment. Thousands clocked up. Now nothing worth bothering. Click bait to increase advertising revenues. Higher readership. Higher revenues. Charge more for advertising based on readership numbers. Going down the pan.

never liked reddit; don’t ever read it now. Obviously r/scotland only cover “some” things Scotland, Scottish and Scots – the things they agree with. Reddit has always been journalism for the non-inquisitive.
