Another BBC ‘Blink and you miss it’ headline at the top of their Scottish pages of their website when it is considered to be too #BAD a story connected to another political party who are in opposition to the SNP.
While many headlines concocted by the BBC and so promoted as being connected to, as in linked to a #SNPBAD story, well as articles they stay (high) up on the BBC website for days on end, sometimes with different versions of the same story via a variety of articles in the Scottish pages of their BBC website.
For example on their Scottish Politics page the top story is still a story connected to a former FM and a former leader of the SNP , as in Alex Salmond, with the headline:
“Police receive new sex assault complaint against Alex Salmond”
That article has been the top story on the Scottish Politics page of their website since 3 November !
(Even though the article states “It is unclear why the allegation has been made now” and also the fact that “It would not be possible to bring a prosecution in respect of Salmond himself as he is dead”.)
So really why such prominence to a story on someone who recently tragically died , yet the BBC in making this their top story for what is now 2 days, are then determined that Mr Salmond shall not RIP or indeed allow his family to grieve in peace).
Another story they currently have on their Scottish Politics page is one in relation to another former FM and leader of the SNP, Nicola Sturgeon, and it is also in reference to Alex Salmond with the headline:
“Sturgeon stays away from Salmond condolences debate”
That article has been on their BBC website since the 30 October 2024 !
That’s 5 days !
Browse their Scottish Politics pages sporadically and you will see #SNPBAD stories that have been on the pages of their BBC website for days on end.
Plus currently they also have older articles relating to both the Tory party and the Labour party that are more positive in tone, for example:
“Scottish Tories needed a new message – has Findlay found it”? (on website since 28 October).
“What do the Tory leadership candidates offer Scotland”? (on website since 31 October).
“Scotland to receive extra £3.4bn from UK Budget, says chancellor” (on website since 30 October).
So I do not see why the Labour Councillor story was removed so quickly as one of the top headlines, since it as a story, is more recent as released news and it also relates to a politician from a party who currently are the UK government.
However for the BBC , it is obviously yet again for them, the wrong party to have a negative noted against on their website.
(That is, for it as an article, is not allowed to be too long in any prominent position on their website) .
So it is then removed , as an article, from the top part of their Scottish Politics page (and so is then consigned to the section at the bottom of their Scottish Politics page that relates to “Latest updates”- then soon to be gone completely from their website).
Rinse and repeat exercise from them innit !

I don’t think we need to ‘think too hard’ to understand WHY this complaint arises, AFTER the sad (and far too soon) demise of our former First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond.
‘Dark forces’ within and OUTWITH Scotland, attacked and tried to ensure they ‘left him without a name’, and in a position, he would no longer hold/be in a recognised position of authority in Scotland.
Thus, trying to stop his ongoing fight to LIBERATE SCOTLAND from UNDERFOOT the ENGLISH JACKBOOT!
Those ‘who are no friends to/of Scotland’ (within and outwith Scotland), thought they’d done enough, including refusing him
‘A Guard of Honour’ in his repatriation to Scotland.
However, despite all their evil plotting, he was recognised/Honoured at home and further afield.
That ‘claim’ is perhaps conveniently-timed to ensure Alex Salmond’s name is besmirched in Scotland’s memory.
IF there is truth to this LATE claim, we should be allowed, in this instance, to be aware of the identity.
As we should now be aware of the identities of those kept secret, even after Alex Salmond was deemed innocent of all the charges.
Unfortunately, AS did not always behave as the man he was and should always have been.
‘Dark Forces’ were obviously aware of such failings (SADLY not uncommon of men in power and even ‘ordinary men’.
Perhaps we should recall those placed in Scotland’s Parliament/Civil Servants/etc to put the questions we have of them!
Sick and tired of the ‘Dark Forces’ operating in Scotland in secret and getting away with it.
If the ENGLISH MSM in England and Scotland, choose to continue to use this (and everything they can) to
besmirch the name of our former FM,
keep their claws embedded in Scotland, where they’ve planted their infiltrators etc.
then it’s time we challenged their FOREIGN occupation
IN OUR NATION and IN OUR LIVES, INCLUDING POLITICALLY
OTHER ‘news’ (where NOT a ‘blue tent’ has ever been sighted), was of their FOREIGN English ‘Royalty’ and what they’ve got away with for centuries and the present lot for DECADES.
It was always known thus, so WHY has this been broadcast now and will it make a difference, wake the hell up, ALL Scots, Welsh, Irish and even English?
Will the FOREIGN English Monarch and the rest of the parasites, be held accountable and make reparation to the peoples of the Nations Scotland, Cymru, the Six Counties of the North of Ireland AND the Nation of England?
Are they ‘playing our peoples towards unrest’ so that they can bring in their ENGLISH/AMERICAN-aided military?
How any can trust the truly evil “Perfidious Albion”, I’ll never understand!
Then there was the matter of the Labour Councillor, being questioned (again, not a blue tent in sight) for Domestic Abuse.
FREEPORTS/SEZs/CHARTER CITIES etc .. scandalous theft of our lands/seas/waterways/ALL assets of Scotland
BELONGING TO WE SOVEREIGN SCOTS.
Nothing reported, EVERYTHING hidden.
Unreported and questions unanswered.
SCOTTISH TRAITORS in the House of Lords, urging the Police Force Arm of Westminster/aka THE MET, to ‘assist’ digging up ‘convenient evidence’ re Nicola Sturgeon etc on the longest-running ‘live’ investigation EVER!
They already have ‘helped/been involved’, from the beginning!
Matters, about which we’ve a right to know/be kept up-to-date,
YET, the ENGLISH MSM/Branch ‘Newsrooms’/Studios in Scotland, remain focused on
“WHATEVER they can twist, to damage the reputation of Scotland and ‘certain Scots'”!
If the ‘claim’ is true, we need to have the EVIDENCE AND PROOF, in a timely fashion.
If the ‘claim’ is not processed in a timely fashion, we need to know why!
We need to know WHY this ‘claim’ has been made after the death of the man accused, who is obviously not able to defend himself.
Surely the time for making such accusations, was at the same time of the other (unidentified) women.
NO crime/s should go unanswered, that includes those of the English Colonialist/Imperialist Establishment et al.
If they seek to ‘further blacken the name of a Scot beyond the grave’, does not that also apply to the English Colonialist/Imperialist Establishment et al!

I myself first noticed this article about Alex Salmond on the day it was first on the BBC website, not just as the top story on the Scottish Politics page but also as the top story on their main Scotland page as well.
Which was on the 3 November.
I added a comment onto a previous post on here about that article on their BBC website under the TUS posting on “Part of my tribute to Alex Salmond’s ‘uncringing spirit’ in Scotland’s 98 year-old paper-based, to your door, non-aligned, pro-Independence newspaper”.
I noted also in my comment that , like you, I wondered if this was being done to “further blacken his name” as I wrote in my comment on that previous post that:
“One wonders if with so many people in Scotland highlighting their appreciation for all that Mr Salmond did for Scotland and independence, then perhaps we are now seeing a backlash via this by others who were not as appreciative of all that he did for Scotland and independence”.
I also added “As in some are trying in regurgitate and renew allegations against him to besmirch his memory and too all of the things he did for Scotland and independence”.
I also noted that the article itself mentioned that ““However, the police may investigate whether there is a suggestion of any other criminal offences committed by anyone else“.
So I further wondered whether this was yet simply another excuse for them, the BBC, in promoting this as a top story on their Scotland pages, to then try and instigate another negative #SNPBAD story , and they were promoting this by using , what amounts to, a non story on Alex Salmond.
I find it shocking and yet also so bloody predictable of them, where they choose to always try to look the other way many a time when it is another party leader within the UK, they certainly never revisit any old story linked to another party leader , as usually it is a case of ‘once told never to be retold’ when it’s a #BAD story on a pro UK leader (via the media in Scotland).
I really feel and totally understand your passion , anger, frustration with it all and sometimes my contempt is not limited to just politicians and their media , but I , at times , also feel contempt towards some of those other voters who seem way too susceptible to all of the lies told by the media and pro UK politicians.
So much so that they, as voters, choose to punish pro independence politicians at the ballot box while also seem to be not so willing to punish other political parties at the ballot box for all of their actual far worse actions.
Scotland’s voters should really hang their heads in shame for the 2024 GE result here , or rather some voters should , and perhaps a start to them redeeming themselves would be to help aid a backlash against the BBC, who yet again seek to destroy Alex Salmond’s memory and also his great achievements for Scotland, in what has proven to be the first steps towards us gaining our freedom from various UK government’s obvious tyranny.

Alex Salmond was proved innocent. Women (lawyer) witnesses testified for him. Made up charges were not true. Wasting public monies. Still wasting public monies in malicious accusations. The Police should have better things to do.
