Drugs are a problem police continue to tackle as dangerous substances remain on our streets. And one way criminals are flooding towns with the likes of heroin and cocaine is through county lines.

The system involves drug dealers establishing networks for the supply and distribution of illegal substances usually to towns and rural areas. They are notorious for using young and vulnerable people as a means to do this. The group ran drugs lines known as the AB Line and the Jay Line. Asante ran his criminal business from Wolverhampton and Stafford. He was assisted with his drug dealing business by eight co-conspirators who lived across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire and Wiltshire.1

To towns and rural areas?

Police Scotland have been working with West Midlands Police for some time to enable them to gather intelligence and evidence to then secure arrests.2,3,4

Only twice in 5 years and not since 2021, 4 years, as County Lines subject small town Scotland to a plague of cheap powerful drugs to fuel our drug deaths ‘shame’, weapons, extreme violence, a surge in violent crime in ‘rural areas’, child abuse, people trafficking, rape and trapping vulnerable adults, yet BBC Scotland put the image of Union before all that!

  1. so who has ordered the BBC not to mention it, who controls the police who have not stopped it and who keeps issuing press releases about scotland having the worst drug deaths in europe.

  2. In on respect the deliberate non-reporting of English County Gangs, works against BBC Scotland in that the more they avoid reporting what is actually going on, the more folk slowly become aware of what BBC Scotland is up to. Once that trust is gone, its gone for good.

    It’s up to us to keep spreading the word and watch BBC Scotland’s audience and revenue in Scotland decline.

    Who orders this news blackout? Probably some chinless wonder in a small office in BBC head office with a title of Colonial News Moderator on the door.

  3. If though ‘the boot was on the other foot.

    That is if County Line drug gangs were all coming from Scotland and were travelling down to England , and so contributing to what was considered to be a major problem in their war against drugs , that is for both the various respective English Police forces and also the UK government as well.

    Then would the BBC UK news , and also their website in the BBC UK section, decide that they would not acknowledge this information as a relevant piece of information that at least showed the public one significant aspect that was causing a huge problem for the Police and also others trying to stem the flow of drugs coming into their country , as in England. (including impacting those who die from drugs).

    Thus contributing towards drug deaths there (England) as well as increased violence and threats and other crimes connected with County Line drug gangs.

    If anyone thinks that the BBC would refrain from mentioning this every single time, and also government ministers too, if that was indeed the situation in England.

    Then I would have to assume that person, who thinks the BBC would ignore that crucial fact, has not been paying any attention to the BBC’s (biased and partisan) output.

    Or indeed that their allegiance , as a person, is more towards the UK (England) and so that takes precedence over their own common sense and also their sense of reality. (as far as the BBC, and UK, is concerned that is).

    The Scottish government are not “allowed” to have any “mitigating circumstances” or any “external factors” that have negative impacts within Scotland , instead they, as a devolved government, must take full responsibility and full accountability for everything that happens within Scotland, both within and also very much too outwith their control as a government.

    Meanwhile other governments within the UK…..

  4. When is a country’s leader (so called) not a leader.

    Well that would be when he makes statements like this.

    “Israel has the right to defend itself” but then when Israel attacks Iran then that same supposed ‘leader’ declares that “Iran should not respond to Israeli strikes”.

    So which (not so) bright spark masquerading as a leader said this.

    Of course it was Keir Starmer who acts as one of the West’s hand maidens to the current right wing Israeli government.

    Of course he , Starmer, applies a totally different logic in respect to Ukraine and Russia.

    Russia attacks Ukraine and so not only will Starmer state Ukraine was right in responding to these attacks but he is also committing millions in financial support to Ukraine from the UK.

    My point is not to state this is wrong, as in to support Ukraine, but that Keir Starmer is very selective in who he supports and also who he considers is allowed to respond to being attacked.

    Surely if a country is attacked by another country then doing nothing , if that is where negotiation and agreements are impossible as a way to resolve matters peacefully.

    Then is Keir Starmer just giving Israel ‘carte blanche’ to attack whoever and wherever they like, indeed in some cases, like Gaza, Israel launching what is an overkill in the total decimation and loss of life that we now see there in Palestine.

    Labour Friends of Israel , and as “friends” they, Labour, are willing to go above and beyond what true “friends” would or should be willing to do and also allow. That is let their friends destroy others, including many many innocents lives of men, women, children, and innocent animals too.

    BTW, as an aside, how much damage is all of this bombing by Israel (here , there and everywhere) doing to the climate/environment ?

    What with Keir Starmer and his GB Energy , that supposedly is part of a UK “green revolution” by his government ,all being done to supposdley make a contribution to a positive impact on climate change and the green policies here within the UK.

    Is there any chance he could tell Netanyahu to stem the tide of conflict as it is, very much within the world, contributing to negatives and damage upon the environment.

    Perhaps worth stating that Keir Starmer does NOT speak for me as I refuse to see him as my leader . He is more really just another pro UK Tinpot dictator who tries to dictate to my country, Scotland, from another country (as in his one England).
