Unlike most allegedly sensible folk in Scotland, I cannot choose between Trump and Harris.

Harris would maybe (she’s keeping quiet on details) be a wee bit better for the folk in the USA of course but, as a mainstream US interventionist and foreign policy hawk Democrat, bad for the rest of the world.
Trump, of course, very bad for women and minorities in the USA but as a NATO sceptic if not hater, and isolationist, a bit better for the rest of the world.
Anyhow, back to eating cats and dogs.
There are 330 million people in the USA, 1 500 ethnicities, nearly a million homeless and starving, 67 places named Springfield and 140 million cats and dogs.
The slaughter and consumption of dog meat is legal in China and the consumption of dog meat is currently legal in the UK. There are more than 4 million Chinese Americans.
Someone somewhere, in or very near a Springfield, is eating cat or dog right now.

Trump stops war. The electorate are sick of it. A waste of monies and resources. The US has been at war since WW2. Korea. Still sanctions on North Korea. 1950s. Vietnam catastrophe.1970’s. Middle East catastrophe. 2000. Ukraine. Harris wants Ukraine to win. No chance. NATO membership. Broken agreements. Missiles trained on Russian border. No other country would put up with.
26 million Russian died in WW2, saving the West. 1/2 million British, 1/2. Million French. Americans 1941. 1million+ in the far east Japan. 1/2million in Europe. Most pro rata German. 8 million. 75% of the Army.
Russia will not put up with missiles trained on its border. Biden and son making £Billions recycling tax payers money through UKraine. A corrupt administration causing unnecessary conflict. Instead of peace. Harris supports the war continuing.
US spends $760Billion on Defence the highest (pro rata) in the world. 1/3 of the total world spend. Much more than Russia or China (proportionately). China 1.2Billion people. $288Billion. More people %. Russia 150Million pop. $65Billion. Saudi 2nd highest (pro rata). $69Billion. Pop 33 million. Including 11million migrants. The Saudi repressive governance.
The UK Gov has been illegally selling Saudi Arabia weapons since the 1960’s. Harold Wilson. Keeping it secret under the Official secrets Act. Britain and France carved up the Middle East. With the US oil interests caused illegal death and destruction. Still continuing. A total waste of monies and resources making the world poorer. Ruining the economy.

MacDonald’s and other retailers were putting horse meat from Ireland in burgers. Recycling rotting chicken by using chemicals to try to reclaim it. All the supermarket chains were selling it. Meat in pies can be contaminated.

I blame Covid, the new variants and I guess old ones, decrease brain function, certainly seems to be the case, folks have gone stark raving mad, some more MAD than others, yikes!
Read this, I hear Covid is also rife in Edinburgh, not sure about other areas in Scotland.
I wish folks would stop sneezing all over folks in shops.

I am in California at the moment with friends and they cannot believe how low Trump has sunk to get votes. Though on the other hand he is comedy gold.
