Cancer treatment – massive fall in waiting times for radiology tests

From Public Health Scotland today:

Waits over 26 weeks for a radiology test decreased by 27% (-1,557) compared to 31 March 2024; in addition, radiology waits longer than 52 weeks decreased by almost a fifth (-19%, -69).1

  2. I have radiotherapy starting on Monday, just under 16 weeks from diagnosis. It would have been 2 weeks earlier but as I had a cruise booked they put it off for a couple of weeks so I could go on the cruise.
