From the Scottish Social Attitudes Survey core module 2023, published today:
Almost half (47%) of respondents thought the government should increase taxes and spend more on health, education, and social benefits.
Half of people (50%) agreed that Government should redistribute income from the better-off to those who are less well-off, while just under a quarter (23%) disagreed.

Higher taxes and redistribution of wealth backed by many people …but not those with the power to implement it !

Highest taxed Country and people still want to raise taxes? Just how stupid can the gullible subservient MORONS of this Cuntry get? Try taxing the super-rich and royals, outlaw offshore tax havens and REDUCE taxation for the masses to afford to live ffs

Cut tax evasion, Trident, redundant weaponry, wars. Stick to International agreements. Change Brexit. Cut nuclear, Hickley Point, HS2. Poor bad decisions by Westminster. Save £Billion. It would cut £50Billion debt repayments.
Invest in Education, NHS and people.
Westminster on average raises £800Billion. Spends £1000Billion. £50Billion debt repayment included.
Scotland raises £87Billion. Spends £54Billion. Westminster spends the rest 40%. Scotland in surplus in fuel and energy and nearer the source. Pays more.
