Ipsos SUB-POLL today cautiously suggests major swing back to SNP as John settles in

It’s only a telephone sub-poll of 203 Scots weighted down to 176 but, today on the day, Ipsos, the most trusted pollster because they’re based in Paris and have no dog in this fight, has:

All:

  • Cons 8%
  • Labour 23%
  • SNP 51% (77 folk)
  • Reform 6%
  • Greens 6%
  • Other 2% (only 3 folk wasting on Alba?)

90% to 100% certain to vote:

  • Cons 9% (Older Tories turn out?)
  • Labour 21% (Labour don’t turn out?
  • SNP 52% (66 – SNP folk turn out?)
  • Reform 4% (Grumpy folk are too scunnered to bother?
  • Greens 9% (Committed folk turn out?)
  • Other 1% (only 2 folk wasting on Alba?)

I know. Recent polls are up and down but one or two full polls especially the usually unfriendly Savanta, have signs of an SNP recovery, as the the most popular party leader and his Tartan Army loyalist, Toblerone-loving, Westminster leader do well in TV interviews.

  3. We live in hope that the loopy-dupes who are daft enough to be tricked into voting for the three-legged Brit Nat Party will stay at home in this election.

    Shir Drear Starmer leads what he has recently called—“the party of English patriotism”. Never to be repeated in the Scottish media.

    Whit a BIG riddy those in the “Scorrish” press who have been touting a Labour victory for the last year will have, if the SNP get a positive result. No doubt (as in 2019) any loss at will garnish a “Nats in meltdown” from the colonial mejah.

    Stick it to the agitprop brigade (Brigadier Col Ruthie, Lame Dame of Westminster parish who also stuck Auld Scotia with DRossie), and stick it up ’em!

  5. I would really love to say that I am confident this will happen. I really can’t contemplate Labour getting a foothold in Scotland so I’m hoping all the hot air we’ve been hearing is just that.

    I’m also hoping that the period between now and 2026 is an eye opener for the Scottish people. I’m hoping that Labour will show what we’ve all been afraid they would show. That the pure sh*tshow left by the tories is unfixable without massive, painful cuts for everyone except the rich.

    I’m hoping against hope that the smiling assassin that is Starmer will drop his facade and the real Starmer will present himself. Because he is not Labour in any shape or form – nor are his front bench colleagues.

  6. Seems like the Pro-SLAB accounts were nothing but trolls trying to make It look like everyone ditched the SNP, But in reality the actual SNP voters were waiting for the GE. Can’t to see the Copium ultra XR when the unionists/Trolls will dish out when they wasted everyone time. Especially /r/Scotland since the mods will have to explain why they banned the pro-SNP accounts and allowed the Keir labour lot to shit up the joint.
