‘Scotland is no longer a free country’ admits former Labour minister and Tory adviser

One of a clutch of unloved and embittered old gammons employed by the Times, Telegraph and Spectator, to malign the old country for English readers, ‘Uncle’ Tom Harris, former  Parliamentary Under Secretary at the Department for Transport in 2006, then in 2021, adviser to the Conservative government on Scottish issues, trots out the above tabloid rubbish for Telegraph readers and to thus inform Fiona Bruce for her next QT interruptions of the SNP panellist.

The facts, not leaks, from Police Scotland, issued a day before the Harris report:

Harris used to be a journalist. Daily Mail?

  1. Lies and more lies about Scotland from the Britnats. What else is new?

The flat-earth society has more honesty and credibility than Harris, Wee Brian Wilson and all the rest of pathetic imposters.

  2. Harris is ahead of Starmer in that he makes no pretense about , now , being a Tory and displaying their customary aversion to the truth .

  4. Off topic.

I see the “grooming gangs” have hit bbcpravdashire as all Scottish related. Also piece in UK 6bbc news tonight about “county lines/drug grooming gangs” with all the “baddies” having Scottish accents. No comment about the source of all these drugs and violence being in England. Time to put a stop to this propaganda.

    1. Noticed that and also Scotland is the worst in the UK and Europe for botched cosmetic surgery without enough regulations….I will probably get stick for saying this but should people check out these cowboys before letting them loose on a persons body.

  5. No surprises from a politician serving a political party whose function in Scotland is to ensure that Westminster’s interests are looked after.

It doesn’t really matter which Westminster party these politicians belong to,their purpose in Scotland remains the same.
