News you’re unlikely to hear 3 – hospital discharge delays reduced by dramatic 25%

From Public Health Scotland today:

The average (median) length of delay for people delayed at the January 2024 census was 22 days, a decrease of 7 days from December 2023.  This equals the November 2023 figure and is the lowest average length of delay in the past three months, October to December 2023.

There has, as the other media will no doubt tell us, been a 3% increase in the number of people delayed.
