A Freedom of Information request to Police Scotland, has revealed:
Police Scotland, may keep limited records for investigations, which record overtime costs and non-pay costs. These costs do not provide an accurate reflection of the total number of hours spent on an investigation nor do they provide, for the reasons stated above, an accurate cost for an investigation. The costs do not include, for example, officer hours where that officer would have been on duty anyway and as such are not recorded as a specific expense to a particular investigation.
However, to be of assistance, I can confirm the recorded costs held by Police Scotland to 30 November 2023 in relation to the investigation into the funding and finances of the Scottish National Party are as follows:
Police Overtime – £79,088.
Vehicle Hire – £784.
I can also provide an estimated salary costing which is based on the top point of each ranks pay scale. The estimated costs salary costs are £1,079,186 to 30 November 2023. This does not include pension contributions.

Vehicle hire!!??

How many did they need to look for digital or paper evidence of financial irregularities?
Did they need a special van for her Imelda Marcos-scale collection of killer heels?
Another for hair products?
More than a million? Remind me much were they looking for?
£600 000?
Plus the hairbrushes?

…and how much did the hire of the tent cost ?
Or did they use an old one from the many investigations into Rangersgate which also cost the public a pretty penny ?

However, the Police during their detailed investigation, have been spotted filching / sorry securing, a large bag of T bags contained in a clear plastic bag and carried out of the house and into their blue tent as damning evidence.
Steam has been from the tent has been detected as the forensic investigation gathers pace.

It might have been a tad cheaper if Sarwar had just called the Punjabi Police. Arrests would have been quicker, incriminating evidence would have been planted quicker and SNP politicians would have been beaten and vanished. Then we could all get on with supporting the precious union forgetting all this Independence nonsense, bow to Westminster and England and life would be wonderful for us Scots, we could smile and laugh that we are giving all of our energy to our lovely neighbours and take pride in all of the nuclear power stations being built in every park, school playground ( it is safe after all) and unused land up and down our country. We can get back to paying for prescriptions and feel glad that our Labour leaders are multi millionaires with private health care who can afford to heat their large houses, we can all just put more clothes on, it won’t effect us, after all we are used to the rain, wind and snow, we are Northern Britains and still able to watch our favourite soaps broadcast from Southern Britain on our rented tellies for the few hours of energy we are allowed. It will be brilliant, no need to think or aspire to be something we are not……vote Labour they will set us free from all of our ambitions, let’s support Sarwar, lend him our vote, you know they have our best interest at heart after all they want what we want…………..don’t they?

I suspect PS are as sick of this as the public – Any who had given ‘the benefit of the doubt’ that this may not have been politically engineered, have been disabused of that notion long since.
It bears the same hallmarks as the Tory Rwanda policy, a vastly expensive piece of political theatre which will achieve nothing but short term headlines and precious little else.
All the conspirators have accomplished by dragging this affair out, is to confirm that there is nothing in the UK which cannot be abused for political ends by the fifth country of the UK, that occupied by the political and media mafia.

Probably you’re correct as far as the rank and file are concerned Bob, but I suspect that there are dark forces at work here. By that I mean of course the British State, who will resort to any tactics to try to destroy our Independence movement, and in this case, one of it’s leaders.
