    1. From Urban Dictionary………

      “Arse-clown
A person who exceeds the descriptive potential of both the terms arse and clown through their ineptitude, lack of common understanding or ability to perform simple tasks.”

Obviously describing Dross and his Unionist pals!!!

  1. She was being generous to a creature who should never have been anywhere near public service.
Of course,Tories don’t do public service, only self service.

  2. Again the “selected highlights” from James Gong sorry Cool sorry Cook of the BBC in Scotland with “Nicola Sturgeon called Boris Johnson a ‘clown’, inquiry hears”…
Despite over half the planet nodding in agreement with the synopsis, Angus Cochrane is tasked with this https://archive.ph/UukQS

A 5 minute snippet of 5 hours worth of evidence must be a new record for HMS James Cook by way of partial journalism, but Alister would no doubt have been purring down the line whilst he was offord a fresh peeled grape..

  3. Listened intently to all the evidence today and must say how refreshing it was to hear from Sturgeons ‘Special advisor’ on how effective Government should operate in stark contrast to the toxic environment and shambles in Whitehall. Could not stand listening to the RS but on the ITV news typically it finished with someone rolled out to pour scorn on any Scot Gov achievements. The English media just cannot bear giving any unequivocal recognition that Scotland and Scots might just do things better.

  4. Just trying to pre-empt tomorrow’s press but was disappointed the FM’s Inquiry responses today. I must say I found him unconvincing especially in the later session when he was rightly pushed on the wide variance in virus infections /deaths in Scotland compared to rUK. He was clearly uncomfortable with the questions and as someone who has wholeheartedly supported the Scot Gov’s response throughout I can only imagine what the opposition parties and their chums in the media will make of it. Very disappointed.

    1. What!!! Maybe you should pay more attention to the detail…..
      Scotland less deaths, less cases.
Are you seriously saying that the unionist media and fakery from Whitehall
are to be believed…….this is…..and was always going to be……a stitch up!!!
The people of Scotland see through the lies!!!
Time to be independent once and for all!!!
      BRING IT ON!!!

  5. An interesting postscript to the above archived article “Nicola Sturgeon called Boris Johnson a ‘clown’, inquiry hears” from Angus Cochrane.
Now listed as 14 hours old despite the archive bearing 25th January 2024, 12:26 UTC, but oh my has the invisible email reader been a busy boy, his inserts starting from the 5th paragraph with –
” It came as First Minister Humza Yousaf, who also gave evidence to the inquiry on Thursday, announced an externally-led review into the Scottish government’s use of mobile messaging apps, conceding that there are “challenges” in relation to how the app is used in government.

He conceded that the handling of requests for WhatsApp messages had not been the government’s “finest hour” and had not given bereaved families confidence.”

Now from where Angus ended the original, James inserts
“The inquiry also heard that Ms Lloyd told Ms Sturgeon in WhatsApp messages that she wanted a “good old-fashioned rammy” with the UK government so she could “think about something other than sick people”.

Ms Lloyd told Ms Sturgeon she had “set a timetable” for the UK government to answer the Scottish government on furlough as a “purely political” move in the messages between herself and the former first minister on 1 November 2020.

Ms Sturgeon said: “Yeah, I get it. And it might be worth doing. I’ve sent a rough formulation of what I might say tomorrow.”

Then what he amusingly calls “Analysis by James Cook”.. So 30 odd paragraphs and at least 5 different topics added to Angus’s original 22 paragraph story over a personal WhatsApp exchange which backfired with 90% of the country giving a massive cheer and laughing…
