Note the careful mention of ‘Unionist’ in this part of the world. Don’t mention the DUP hates Tories now.
It’s in a nice Tory……green and, best of all, repeats that graph from 2019, when even Boris failed to get them in, in Ayr.
Things have changed, as they well know, after Partygate, Liz Truss and now Rishi.

It is possible that the Tories could win this seat due to tactical voting by people who normally vote Labour of Lib Dem. For a fair number of them hatred of the SNP trumps all. If, in addition, the SNP lose votes to Labour, then the combination of both will have the Herald shouting THE TORIES ARE BACK!!!!

I was one unfortunate recipient of this crock of shit. Mr Dowey presides over a county town which is literally falling apart and seems to think this will encourage folk to propel him to higher office while apparently wishing to remain head honcho of The Cooncil.

I’m not concerned about he Tories. They are finished. It’s Labour who are the greater danger. Although they are nothing more than English Tories, it’s the media hype they will get in the run up to the General Election. If they manage to defeat the S.N.P in any seats, and increase their M.Ps from the present duo, then it will be hailed as a great victory for them, despite them still being a minority party.
