Above, THE NEWS, a seismic revolt in the ranks of UK Labour as 56 out of 198, 28%, vote with the SNP, supporting their amendment calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
This tells us several things no doubt but, for me, it reminds that quite a few Labour MPs are far from fussy about the leadership strategy to protect Scottish Labour from further damage caused by the SNP outflanking them of the left with progressive policies on, especially, benefits and taxation.
BBC Scotland too has a different agenda from its UK mothership, which in the above report, has no problem crediting the SNP in the second line.
BBC Scotland can’t not report this dramatic event triggered by the largest Scottish party but they can and do push it down ‘the page’:

Many will remember the protection offered to Labour in the recent by-election where the unpopular Starmer positions were never used to challenge the candidate.

They could explain the reasons for Labour leadership behaviour , slavish obedience to Israel victimisation and slander of Cornyn and anyone in the party who doesn’t follow party line.
