A sharp 43% increase in the number of children with no obvious decay experience in Scotland from 2007 to 2023.

And even sharper fall of 66% in the number of decayed, missing and filled teeth after 16 years of SNP rule.

As a qualified dentist Anas Sarwar will realise the import of these figures and will be front and centre in congratulating the Scottish Government’s efforts in improving so dramatically the health of our nation’s teeth .
I also think that Jackie Baillie is easily the best politician Scotland has ever had , Ian Murray is a fine figure of a man when wearing his Union Jack suit and BBC Scotland is such a great ……

I read the other day that one of the largest increases in A&E in NHS England has been children seeking dental treatment because they cannot find/access an NHSE dentist.
Hospital admissions in England of children with dental caries is growing.
“”Following a decrease during the pandemic, the number of 5-9 year olds requiring tooth extractions in hospital rose to 16,959 in 2021-22 (compared to 9,429 in 2020-21). In total, almost 30,000 children and young people aged between 0-19 were admitted to hospital because of tooth decay in 2021-22.22 Sept 2022″”
