Credit to regular Bob Lamont for spotting this.
Five days after the Rutherglen by-election and BBC Scotland is still savouring SEVEN reports on that and has an average age for reports at 3 DAYS!

Actually reporting what is important by revealing how the UK Government failed to work with the devolved governments to fight the pandemic, BBC Wales has an average age for reports of 1.2 DAYS.

BBC Northern Ireland average age of stories – 3.8 HOURS! The Cork murder report was 3 hours ago.

BBC England average age of story – 3 HOURS!
What are we paying these people for?

BBB Scotland are plain stupid , hardly anyone listens to what they have to say because it is so unreliable so they have to try and have programmes immediately before and after in the hope that they get their hangers on or early arrivals

Oh no my elderly no voting neighbours are avid BBC followers, mention any issues with health and they cannot stand me pointing out that England is in much state than Scotland for A&E etc. Lots of older folk beleive the BBC and take the Brit states’ propaganda as gospel, scarily. Labour know that and dine out on that fact.

In my humble opinion, such as I have one, is that BBC Scotland has for a long time given any pretence of being a “News Broadcaster”.
I have mentioned this before on this blog, but I do not know of anyone who actually pays any attention to it or indeed (maybe they are just being quiet), actually pays for it!
It’s a political organisation dressed up as though it was a reputable broadcaster, nothing more.

I’m not paying BBC haven’t done so for years our aerial doesn’t work thank goodness, the Brit state send a wee reminder/threat every couple of years and I say to them you’d have to pay me to watch your bias and propaganda!
Notice in the ‘Scotland’ section odf their brainwashing reports, they don’t use Humza Yousaf’s first name or the title of FM. Even in such terrible circumstances the EngGov controlled BBC cannot show respect to Scotland’s First Minister. Just disgusting actually. I can’t imagine how terrifying it must be to have family trapped in a terrible war zone.

It is of course NOT just the BBC….as STV news and too Scotland Tonight also have form in this.
Example….many moons ago John McKay on the six O’clock edition of STV News stated that 127 drivers from the EU had responded to the call from the UK to drive HGV’s (this was via the time there was a HGV driver shortage BECAUSE of Brexit)…now this was on THE SAME day that SAME figure was quoted by Boris Johnson PM……as in he said that 127 drivers responded from the EU …INCORRECT….as earlier on that day, post Johnson’s mistake (another one) or rather another LIE , a journalist (who decided to actually do his job) checked that figure and determined it was only actually 27 drivers from the EU who had responded to the UK…..then….subsequent to both Johnson saying that WRONG figure and then STV News repeating that SAME wrong figure on that SAME day…..we then had …..
Kwasi Kwarteng confirming on the Marr show , on the following Sunday, as in post Johnson (and STV News) quoting the excessive wrong figure (as in adding 100 onto the 27)…… that it was indeed only…..27 drivers.
THIS is the standard of journalism in Scotland…..no checking….just repeat Union politicians comments………….DIRE.
So pardon me if I take with a pinch of salt anything said or written via MSM as being the accurate and verified version of any story…..because what with a multitude of clarifications in newspapers and too via news channels , under the assumed disguise of a clarification being an actual apology, they really do little in the way of reassuring the readers or audience as to how much effort they, as a media, are putting in to verify their reports or articles ……..and of course the wrong story has already done the damage and the later clarification is one that will most likely be missed or disregarded…..and who thinks, as happens often with our Scottish (INO) media, that they in sourcing quotes, opinions and FOI requests via opposition parties to the SNP is then to be seen by us, their audience or readers, as a reliable, trustworthy, objective and appropriate content for what they decide to present as the actual news…..indeed it very much appears to be a deliberate and tactical act to achieve the end result of yet another #SNPBAD story where the SNP must , yet again, defend their position when really there is nothing to defend other than their being constantly attacked….while simultanously the same treatment ,via the media here in Scotland, is not then dished out to those opposition parties, who many a time are the sources of MSM #SNPBAD stories, and too who are also the source of the many woes suffered by us in Scotland.
This Freedom of the press surely does not include or extend to them making it up as they go along with their motivation being to destroy one political party in order to benefit another….or does it !

It’s not BBC Scotland laziness, far from it – They must examine tens of news releases from SG daily before picking say one to which they can change the angle, or more generally ignore by supplanting with their preference as to what “the news” should be, the “news where you are”.
eg On the BBC Wales page there is a regular feature, “First Minister’s Questions : As it happened on 10th October”, which seeks to inform the electorate on the topics of the day discussed.
When was the last time anyone saw mention from BBC Scotland of SG’s FM questions unless it involved some controversy potentially embarrassing to the administration, or some hyperbole from the Opposition they wished to promote ?
Yet this control over what IS or IS NOT news extends far beyond BBC Scotland’s readers.
The promotion of specific articles to the BBC UK page makes it Scotland’s top story in England – eg this morning on top spot is “Israel-Gaza attacks: Humza Yousaf’s wife fears for ‘terrified’ family” by James Cook and Paul O’Hare – Interesting and concerning though the story is, who determines THAT is what concerns most Scots ?
Then there is the ‘news pool’ -Almost every Pacific Quay article goes into it, and with every news outlet drawing from it, little wonder STV, National or P&J replicate the same story, reinforcing the impression this is what most concerns Scots.
We are beyond the era of journalism, it is now news management, aka propaganda.
