Public Health Scotland publish this graph weekly showing a steady fall in the number waiting for social care assessments and for receipt of a package enabling them to be discharged from hospital.
It doesn’t look too impressive but that has a lot to do with the scaling of the graph axes and the choice of weekly intervals.
I can’t find the exact data anywhere but, for people waiting for assessment, the drop looks like from 7 600 to 6 500 and, for people waiting for a package, from 5 100 to 4 000, in just 7 months.
You could still accurately represent the trend like this:

Key:
Blue – those waiting for an assessment
Orange – those assessed but still waiting for a package
The vertical scale is still pretty tight with 1 000 between markers but not much visual space between them.
We could have this:

Progress! Social care waiting times fall sharply?

Personal care payments in Scotland means elderly people can be supported to stay in their own homes for longer.
Personal care £100 a week, Residential home care £1000+ a week, Hospital care £600+ a day.= £4200 a week.
SNHS 80% used by 20% of the pop. The elderly. The fragility of the human body. Prevention is better than cure. Higher pensions would mean less need for ‘benefits’ .and the cost of bureaucracy, Nearly as much as the pension payout. £250Billion (Increased by COVID).
UK Gov spent £270Billion COVID funding over two years. £370Billion over a lifetime, £Billions siphoned off by Tories and their associates. For personal gain.
A totally mismanaged pandemic planning. No adequate planning or resources despite several warnings. To concentrate on Brexit. Another Tory disaster.
Scotland pays all its Pensions/‘benefits. From Scottish revenues and resources. From monies and revenues raised in Scotland. Pays over the odds to fund London S/E totally congested. Ruining the UK economy. Not equal,or fair.
