A report from the Economics Foundation, published today, predicts serious negative effects on the Scottish economy if the third runway at Heathrow goes ahead.
Up to 1314 jobs could be lost by 2031:

1314? What does that remind me of?
Up to 2 707 jobs could be lost in Glasgow by 2051:

£1.6 BILLION lost to Scotland’s GDP:

Never could understand the SNP agreeing with the runway plan as it was pretty obvious and now even more so with this, that it would not be of benefit to ‘Us Up North’!!
More and more dire news being revealed about the next stage in this BRexit disaster.
The finance sector is starting to scream and with BJ being awol I just wonder how they can continue to “…fool all the people some of the time’…”

Interesting, too, in the report summary we are told that there will be substantial public subsidy for the expanded LHR continuing into the future. £10 Billion of taxpayer money will be required for the building of ‘surface infrastructure’ alone (ie. roads, bridges, railways etc.) to get goods and people from London to west London.
Good job the Johnson Government has lots of free oil and gas to sell, eh?……
