The Herald headline story today.
Is Jamie, 14, now in charge at this once throbbing organ* of British politics?
Hang on! They’ve changed the headline story. There must be some connection. If only I could come up with it but I’m too busy winking at you! Who is this old wonk:

Footnote 1:
*organ noun (NEWSPAPER)
the organ of sth formal a newspaper or broadcasting station produced by a particular organization and giving only the opinions of that organization [like BBC Scotland] :The newspaper Pravda was the official organ of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union.
Footnote 2:

The Organ was a US counterculture underground newspaper which produced a total of 9 irregularly published issues in San Francisco in a 36-page folded tabloid format between July 1970 and July 1971. It featured two-color covers, black-and-white interiors and a double-page centerfold poster in each issue, and cost 50 cents. It was published by Christopher Weills and edited by Gerard van der Leun.[1] Contributors included Robert Crumb, S. Clay Wilson, Greg Irons, Tom Veitch, Dave Sheridan, Robert Anton Wilson, Robert Shea, William Burroughs, Michael Rossmann, Richard Lupoff, Sandy Darlington, Howard J. Pearlstein, and Don Donahue. Interviews with a number of countercultural figures appeared, including Kenneth Anger, Jerry Garcia, and Allen Ginsberg.
Dear readers, I know this is a spectacularly bizarre post but I used to read the above organ/Organ back then. There’s some other connection with something else I did often back then but I’m damned by the Kirk if I can remember what it was. I know, stupid old wanker!
Ouch! Why is this typing hurting my wrist?
