Scottish productivity soars by 30% above the level under Labour after SNP investments in new technologies

https://data.gov.scot/labour-productivity-2023/

The Unionist media in Scotland will focus on last year’s, statistically insignificant, 1%, fall in labour productivity and ignore the actual news in the above trend.

Note – the number of hours worked (blue line) under Labour was as high as it is now but output (green and black lines) was far lower.

Which means? Under Labour, low skill, low pay, slog with old plant, like Soviet Russia.

  1. When I post something positive like this my unionist nephew brexit voters always pops up saying “another brexit bonus”. To which my reply always is “no, that’s in spite of brexit and the constrictions of being shackled to the union”.

  2. Fb seems to have gone a bit mad on independence supporting articles. I posted one from the Ferret and it was taken down within seconds quoting community standards. Second time that’s happened. Gordon Ross left FB because of their restrictions and several of my friends are reporting similar problems.

  3. Presumably these articles are being pulled because you’re just not listening.

THE PEOPLE OF SCOTLAND DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT INDEPENDENCE!

And you’re persisting in talking about it. From Scotland!

    😀
