In the week-ending 7 November, NHS Scotland’s A&E departments saw 24 334 attendances, up from 243 132, yet performance improved.
From 69.6% on 24 October, 71.4% on 31 October, to 73.8% on 7th November, we see three weeks of improvement.
NHS England only do monthly data so, for October 2021, they did 61.9% in 4 hours, down from 64% in September.
NHS Scotland’s A&E departments are roughly 20% better.

In the short term Data for SHNS can only improve and EHNS worsen
Why
1.SHNS vax rates higher and far more targeted
2.SHNS has had far more targeted extra funding to mitigate a bad situation
3.EHNS also had extra funds but just thrown at it ( reluctantly )
And all without a clear well thought out plan,especially as EHNS has a very fragmented dis orientated corporate structure
All akin to attempting to herd 100 cats
