The Tusker founder suffers suspected ‘Acid Flashback’ after hearing ‘Formby backs Beckett for Unite General Secretary’

What Where? Will the window-cleaners be happy with this choice? What about the Chinese laundry workers? The little ukelele-makers?

Will members generally feel they have been waiting for a Godot-awfully long time for the decision?

If Beckett forgets his lamppost again, what will Formby lean on?

Why am I blogging at this time?

  1. This morning’s GMS, BBC Radio in Scotland (approx 8.15am)

    Gordon Brewer ” Scotland’s had 4000 deaths, England 44,000
We’ve had our population share ”

    Linda Bauld “Absolutely”

  2. George Formby had more gravitas and delivered a better performance than any of the current British Labour in Scotland MSPs/MP currently.

  3. Always a wee doubt as to someone keekin’ in your bathroom window, and singing about it.
Like complaint that the Chinese government spy on their own citizens—don’t people know GCHQ does the same!
Or Huawei is a security risk. The CIA has spied on everyone (bar the Chinese ironically) for 50 years, using a Swiss encryption company it bought with German intelligence.
Every government spies on every other government.

Like Bismark nearly said–“it’s a substitute for war”.
