Increases in number of children seen by mental health services within target time in 2019

In the three months ending June 2019, 69.7% were seen within the target time of 18 weeks, up from 67.5% in the previous year at the same time.

In the previous quarter ending March 2019, 73.6% were seen within the target time also up from the equivalent period in 2018 when 72.8% were seen within the 18-week target time.

The same pattern of improvement be seen in the quarter ending December 2018 with 72.8% seen up from 71.1% in 2017.

Variation within the year is of course less useful than that over a longer period.
